Designed by Javier Cuñado of ITEMdesignworks, the Actiu Passport Bench provides a comfortable sitting experience for extended use thanks to its ergonomic form and use of innovative materials. Offered in four different models, the Passport Bench can be fabricated from steel, plywood, or polyurethane, with an option to provide special seating arrangements for differently-abled users. Incorporating an Extruded aluminum central beam for support, the PU model uses integral polyurethane for the seat and back which is moulded over steel plate. Meanwhile, the steel option utilizes perforated steel for back and seat with an optional vinyl foam for added comfort. The plywood model uses a 13mm plywood for the seat and back and can be finished in natural beech or natural oak colors.
