The Oluce Switch Table Lamp, conceptualized by Japanese designer, Nendo, is a reinterpretation of the timeless abat jour form while balancing both aesthetic and functionality. Using metal to create both the cylindrical lampshade and its supporting stem and base, the lamp is available in two options- lacquered black or in polished gold shade with a white internal reflector. The name is taken from its function as the diffuser can be switched on and off by turning the shade. The Switch Table Lamp is an innovative piece that provides the right amount of mood lighting to home offices, living areas, and corporate spaces.
